This kit flashes a 5mm red and green LED ON and OFF.. The speed of the flashing LEDs can be adjusted with an included potentiometer. This kit is a good beginners kit for those new to soldering. Uses for this product include model railroading crossing lights, blinking signs, highway barriers, traffic signals, etc.

Requires basic soldering skills, a small amount of solder and a 15 to 30 watt soldering iron.

Suggestions:

• Replace the 3.3k resistors supplied with 33k resistors and the flashing rate will slow down
• Combine it with our Illuminator Kit (BK105 or BK205) to have the scene automatically turn on and off at predetermined intervals
