Sound Recording Kit with Microphone, Speaker, Battery Holder and Sound Resonator Box. Record and playback ten seconds of sounds or voice. Recording unit comes fully assembled, but speaker wires require soldering to complete the kit. The sound box is simply folded into shape from a precut flat sheet.

This is a very nice economical recording circuit that can be used in models, dioramas, train layouts, halloween displays, etc. The volume of the kit if fairly low, but the sound box provides an increase in volume without an external powered amplifier or electrical connection. It is not meant for to be used in a noisey room, but is fine in a small room setting. If a higher volume is needed, it can be outputed to an external amplifier.

To record a sound, you simply press the record button and speak into the microphone on the circuit board. When done, release the button and press playback to hear your recored sound. The unit stores the sound in memory even after power is shut off. To erase and record a new sound, simply repeat the process. The unit can be recorded over and over again. The playback also has a second play button where it plays only as long as you hold the button. 

Optional: It is possible to have the SR-100 customized to be triggered by a BK-100 or BK-200 series kit to provide sounds at preprogammed intervals or with motion detectors.
