Day / Night Tower Strobe Kit  

Here is a great kit to bring a towers, large tanks, radio towers or tall buildings to life both day and night! Similar to our BK-110 tower flasher except this kit changes from white strobes during the day to red strobes at night. Many areas now require white strobes during the day and red at night and this kit will provide that effect. In addition to two sets of White & Red Strobes is an individual Red 3mm LED that ramps up and down like those found on some taller buildings.  The kit includes a preprogrammed MicroComputer that has two independent programs. Program 1 (Day Time) Strobes two Super Bright White LEDs flash in unison over and over again as you would see during the day. When light is reduced Program 2 (Night Time) will switch from the White to Red LEDs Strobing in Unison while a 3rd 3mm Red LED will slowly ramp up, flash and ramp down like would be found on some taller structures at night. Great for O, HO and N Scale Towers or buildings. Assembly is fairly simple due to the small number of parts. The Day / Night Program is selected automatically with an included Light Sensor that can be on the circuit board or wired remotely. A small switch can also be used in place of the light sensor to select day or night programs.  Photo is of a typical BK-100 series assembly and may vary in resistors & outputs used for each paticular kit.

Don't have room tower on your layout! You can always make a backdrop showing a tower(s) in the distance or on mountains with the LEDs mounted in the backdrop for a great effect

The completed circuit board is 3/4" wide, 2" long and about 1/2" high.

The kit comes complete with Circuit Board, Components, 3 Super Bright 3mm Red LEDs, 2 Super Bright 3mm White LEDs, a Pre-Programmed MicroController IC, 8" LED and Power leads and Assembly Instructions. This kit requires soldering to assemble the kit. A 15- 30 watt soldering iron is recommended.
